Terms of Use

Snip-Z is an AI-powered video automation platform. It acts as an intermediary that connects to third-party AI services (ElevenLabs for voice, HeyGen for video, Anthropic for scripts) and publishing platforms (YouTube) to automate the creation and publishing of short-form videos on your behalf.

Snip-Z does not itself generate or host audio or video files. All media generation and storage occurs on third-party infrastructure. We coordinate the workflow and store the resulting metadata and public URLs.

You must be at least 13 years old to use Snip-Z. By using the Service, you confirm that you meet this requirement. If you are using Snip-Z on behalf of a business, you confirm you have authority to bind that business to these Terms.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at legal@snip-z.com if you believe your account has been compromised.

Snip-Z uses the YouTube API Services to upload videos to your connected YouTube channel. By connecting your YouTube account and using this feature, you agree to:

• The Google Privacy Policy

You can revoke Snip-Z's access to your YouTube account at any time by visiting Google Security Settings. Revoking access will prevent Snip-Z from uploading future videos but will not delete videos already uploaded.

You are solely responsible for ensuring that all content published to YouTube through Snip-Z complies with YouTube's Community Guidelines, copyright policies, and advertiser-friendly content guidelines.

Snip-Z integrates with third-party providers. Your use of these services through our platform is subject to their respective terms. We are not a party to those agreements and are not responsible for those services.

You retain ownership of any content you create using Snip-Z. By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to process, transmit, and publish your content solely as necessary to provide the Service (e.g., sending your script to ElevenLabs, submitting the rendered video to YouTube).

You are solely responsible for ensuring that the content you create and publish through Snip-Z:

• Does not infringe any third-party intellectual property rights
• Is not defamatory, harassing, or unlawful
• Complies with YouTube's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines
• Complies with all applicable laws in your jurisdiction

You may not use Snip-Z to:

• Create or distribute spam, misleading content, or misinformation
• Generate content that infringes copyright or trademark rights
• Produce content that is harmful, abusive, discriminatory, or illegal
• Circumvent YouTube's monetisation or spam policies
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or exploit the Snip-Z platform or its APIs
• Share your account with others or resell access to the Service

Paid subscriptions are billed through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorise Stripe to charge your payment method on a recurring basis per your selected plan. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.

Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact legal@snip-z.com within 7 days of a charge if you believe you were billed in error.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT AI-GENERATED CONTENT WILL MEET YOUR EXPECTATIONS.

We are not responsible for the quality, accuracy, legality, or fitness for purpose of content generated by ElevenLabs, HeyGen, or Anthropic's AI systems.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SNIP-Z SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF REVENUE, OR LOSS OF PROFITS, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE OR ANY THIRD-PARTY SERVICE INTEGRATED WITH SNIP-Z.

WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR:

• Any audio or video data processed or stored by ElevenLabs or HeyGen
• YouTube content strikes, demonetisation, or account suspensions
• Payment disputes handled by Stripe
• Downtime or data loss caused by third-party providers
• Any AI-generated content that is inaccurate, offensive, or legally problematic

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM THE USE OF THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO SNIP-Z IN THE 3 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms or if we determine (in our sole discretion) that your use of the Service poses a risk to other users or third-party platforms.

You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Account → Delete my account. Upon deletion, your data will be permanently removed per our Privacy Policy.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or an in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance.

These Terms are governed by the laws of your applicable jurisdiction. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes will be subject to binding arbitration or the courts of competent jurisdiction.
